Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Park & Bark ("we", "our" or "us") and our clients ("you" or "the owner"). By registering as a client and booking our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Our aim is simple: to provide a safe, professional and enjoyable experience for every dog entrusted to our care.
1. Becoming a Client
All new dogs must complete a complimentary Meet & Greet before joining Park & Bark.
The Meet & Greet usually lasts around 30 minutes and may take place at your home or a suitable outdoor location.
During the Meet & Greet we will:
-
Meet you and your dog.
-
Discuss your dog's routine, behaviour and individual needs.
-
Assess suitability for our group walks.
-
Answer any questions you may have.
Acceptance into Park & Bark is entirely at our discretion.
2. Acceptance into the Pack
Not every dog is suited to group walking.
For the safety and wellbeing of all dogs, Park & Bark reserves the right to refuse, suspend or discontinue services at any time.
Reasons may include (but are not limited to):
-
Aggressive behaviour.
-
Excessive anxiety or stress.
-
Unsafe behaviour around people or other dogs.
-
Poor suitability for group walks.
-
Repeated failure to respond safely during walks.
-
Undisclosed medical or behavioural concerns.
Our decision will always be made in the best interests of every dog in our care.
3. Health Requirements
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog:
-
Is fit and healthy for exercise.
-
Is kept up to date with routine vaccinations where appropriate.
-
Receives appropriate flea and worm treatment.
-
Does not attend walks while suffering from any contagious illness.
Owners must notify Park & Bark immediately if their dog develops vomiting, diarrhoea, kennel cough, fleas, worms or any other contagious illness.
Dogs displaying signs of illness must not attend walks.
4. Neutering
Owners should inform us whether their dog has been neutered.
Dogs do not need to be neutered to join Park & Bark.
Female dogs in season cannot attend group walks until their season has ended.

Dogs are collected from and returned to their registered address unless agreed otherwise.
Owners do not need to be present.
Access may be provided by:
-
House key.
-
Lockbox.
-
Another agreed secure method.
House keys will be stored securely and will never be labelled with your name or address.

-
A secure collar or harness.

A suitable lead.

Any agreed medication.

Any specialist equipment previously discussed.
Park & Bark reserves the right not to walk a dog if suitable equipment is not provided.

During the Meet & Greet we will discuss your dog's recall and suitability for off-lead exercise.
Dogs will only be walked off lead where:
-
The owner has given permission.
-
Park & Bark believes it is safe to do so.
We reserve the right to keep any dog on lead or use a long line whenever we believe it is necessary for safety.
