Park & Bark began with two people, two dogs and a shared belief that every dog deserves more than just a walk.
We're Matthew and Cole, partners in life and business, and together we've created Park & Bark to offer a premium dog walking experience built on trust, safety and genuine care.
Like many dog owners, we know our dogs are family. They deserve exciting adventures, plenty of enrichment and someone who cares for them as if they were their own. That's exactly the standard we've built Park & Bark around.
When we're not out walking with the pack, you'll usually find us exploring new trails with our own two dogs - Ivy, our Beagle, and Daisy, our Cocker Spaniel. Whether it's woodland paths, country parks or quiet local walks, we're always searching for somewhere new to let them sniff, explore and enjoy themselves.
As a small, owner-operated business, every dog is personally known to us. We believe in taking the time to understand every dog's personality, routine and individual needs, creating carefully matched walking groups where every member of the pack can thrive.

Matthew
Co-founder & Dog Walker
Matthew has been surrounded by dogs for as long as he can remember, and his love of animals has shaped much of his life.
Growing up, countless afternoons were spent exploring the trails of Chatelherault Country Park and Strathclyde Park with his beloved Cocker Spaniel, Robbie - affectionately known as "Bob". Robbie wasn't just Matthew's dog; he was his best friend, and the bond they shared continues to inspire the care and compassion Matthew brings to every walk today.
After leaving school, Matthew built a successful career in luxury retail and sales, where exceptional customer service became second nature. His favourite conversations were rarely about products - they almost always ended up being about customers' dogs.
Today, Matthew combines that passion for people with his lifelong love of dogs, ensuring every owner feels confident that their four-legged family member is in safe, caring and experienced hands.
Cole
Co-Founder & Dog Walker
Cole has grown up with dogs all his life. From Snowy the Jack Russell to Holly, Millie, and now Ivy and Daisy, dogs have always been at the heart of family life.
Professionally, Cole trained as an actor and has performed in theatres across Scotland in musicals, pantomimes and plays. While performing remains an important part of his career, his passion for dogs and the outdoors inspired him and Matthew to create Park & Bark together.
Bringing the same professionalism, energy and attention to detail that has defined his performing career, Cole believes every walk should be safe, enriching and filled with fun. Whether it's building a nervous dog's confidence, encouraging play or simply making sure every dog returns home happy and content, his goal is always the same: to give every dog a little adventure they'll look forward to again and again.
